Střední průmyslová škola elektrotechnická a Vyšší odborná škola Pardubice

Belongs with its 500 students at the age of 16-19 and 60 teachers - highly qualified specialists - to the most prestigious schools in Eastern Bohemia. It provides technical education finished with the School Leaving Exam.

The branches of study are Electronic Communication Devices, Computer Science and Automation, Information Technologies. The project SEN is being made mainly by students studying Information Technologies because they learn required knowledge in special subjects such as multimedia and dynamic web applications, graphics, programming. However, some students studying other branches but they can make a video, take snaps, write texts are participating in the project as well.

The project derives benefit from the fact that study includes practice lessons and practical exercises in numerous ICT laboratories equipped with PCs, data projectors and interactive boards. Also, the part of the School Leaving Exam is final IT products such as a video, web, a programme which show students can use learnt theory in practice.

Learners regularly achieve first positions in technical competitions such as AMAVET. School also organizes ICT competition Pcák in which 50 contestants from primary schools of the region compete every year.

The school functions as a CISCO Academy and ECDL Test Centre.

Sweden - Vaggeryd

Fenix kultur - och kunskapscentrum

Fenix is a school that´s located in the southern Sweden in Vaggeryd. It has about 300 students and we have 16 different programs to choose between and they are college preparatory and vocational programs. We think that our school is good because it has a lot of internship and field studies and also international exchanges which are good because it gives us students the opportunity to build relationships and experiences that can facilitate the transition to work.

Here in Sweden we get food for free in the school because the citizens pay taxes for that and the upper high school is not compulsory for anybody.

Our school consists of two buildings. The main building and “Fenix 2”. The main building was built in 1996 and the second building was built in 2010. The second building is very modern and it has nice views of the nature and the big lake Hjortsjön. In Fenix 2 we have the machines that is used most by the students from the vocational programs but also from the students from the technical program.

Slovakia - Prešov

The establishment of the Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering in Prešov stimulated the developing electrical engineering industry in eastern Slovakia. The school went down in history on September 1, 1952 under the name of the Higher Industrial School of Electrical Engineering.

The school is currently attended by more than 700 students and offers the following fields: electrical engineering, information and network technologies, technical and IT services in electrical engineering. The Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering in Prešov is one of the dominant secondary schools in eastern Slovakia. According to the INEKO evaluation, in 2013 the school ranked first in the ranking within Slovakia and in 2014 it ranked second. The school have more than eight thousand graduates who have found and still find good employment.

Greece - Aigiou

1o GENIKO LYKEIO AIGIOU is a public upper secondary school of general studies, located at the city of Aigio in Greece, educating 340 students from 15 to 18 years by 38 teachers. It offers a comprehensive academic program supplemented with extra curriculum activities (health, cultural, environmental, theatrical and music programs), which aim at enriching the students’ personality. There are students from different socio-economic backgrounds, a small number of them with foreign background, mostly Albanians. School is housed at a modern building in a fenced 15 acres area with a lot of greenery.

To do the training of our school more attractive and efficient for students, we have digitized part of lessons in the e-learning platform Moodle. Teachers upload their course materials (resources and activities) there. Their work has been made easier because they can teach without textbooks, having control over the study time for each student and taking the students’ exercises online (e-portfolios).

Another step in the process of digital transition of our school is the use of Lego Mindstorms robotics kits and the gradual use of them in various scientific fields. Since 2016, we have been implementing Erasmus+ KA2 projects in various fields related to Maths in real-life, Robotics with Python & Lego EV3, Physical Education, Accessible Tourism, Emotional Intelligence and Smart Innovation Technologies for school.

At the Profiled High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics „Academician Nikola Obreshkov”, founded on 27th of May 1971 in Burgas, Bulgaria, students enroll to experience outstanding education. We educate students aged 12 to 19 in grades 5 to 12.

Gustave Eiffel highschool is a boarding general, technological and vocational secondary school.

Our secondary Highschool is set in the middle of Burgundy-Franche-Comté County, in the city of Dijon. This highschool opened in september 1966. Over the years, this school with a scientific and technological vocation has reinforced its image as an establishment specializing in advanced training and has opened new sections of Preparatory Classes for Engineer School, Vocational diploma (advanced technician certificate)... Today, the school offers a full range of scientific and technological training, from Year 11 to high school diploma and 2 years of higher education.

In 2020/2021, the school has: 30 pre A-level classes.; 9 seconde classes, (10th grade); 7 première classes, (11th grade - scientific courses); 3 première STI2D classes, (11th grade - technological courses); 6 Terminale S classes, (12th grade - scientific courses); 4 Terminale STI2D classes, (12th grade - technological courses); 19 higher education classes:; 8 BTS (1st and 2nd year for each of the 4 specialties), like Bachelor of technology / advanced technician's certificate.; 7 scientific preparatory classes (2 PTSI, 1 PT, 1 PSI, 2 TSI - 1st and 2nd year, 1 ATS),; 4 economic and legal preparatory classes (1st and 2nd year for each of the 2 specialties).; A total of around 1500 students.

For the success of the students there is a team of 150 teachers, 100 administrators, and a management team of 5 people. The boarding school accommodates 350 students. Students of advanced technicians certificate classes complete a professional internship of approximately 8 weeks over the two years of training.
